The Industry’s gold benchmark in terms of quality and professionalism is the AAA Certification, which is assessed annually. This provides assurance that standards for quality of service, employee hiring and screening, insurance as well as other security requirements are met. It also assesses whether a member’s operations meet the requirements of its country’s privacy protection legislation.

Cleardata is proud to be the first African member of NAID, and the first to be awarded its AAA Certification. Clients who use a certified provider can be assured of their compliance with the privacy protection provisions regarding document disposal of US & European Legislation, both of whom have requirements for stringent Protection of Personal Information enacted 2013.

ISO 9001 is by far the world’s most established quality framework, currently being used by over ¾ million organisations in 161 countries. It sets the standard not only for quality management systems, but management systems in general, and helps accredited organisations succeed through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement. We’re pleased to have received our certification from the South African Bureau of Standards in May 2009.

Document Destruction Legal Compliance

In late 2008, Cleardata was certified as the world’s first Carbon Neutral provider of Secure Document Destruction Services. This was a significant development in our history, and evidence that we’re committed to sustainable business practices. This status was achieved through a reduction strategy which included the use of Bio-Fuel for our vehicle fleet, and the planting of hundred of trees across at several disadvantaged schools across South Africa.
